A Gibson With No Visible Serial

I cannot find a readable serial on an old Gibson acoustic. What other details should I photograph?

A missing or unreadable number does not settle the identity. Start with the front, back, headstock and any visible interior markings.

There is a faint mark inside. I will photograph it without trying to clean it.
